Problem computing
Sometimes I just want to use the computer as the tool it is supposed to be, rather than trying to understand it's most obscure and intricate needs.

The HP won't mount anymore, so I can't get any more pictures into the Mac.

Pizza night
Mark was not forced to deal with the pizza-man.

Climbed the mountain
Charlie's "walk" was mostly a "carry."

MacOS 10.3
Loaded.

In dialog boxes, it is possible once again to jump to files or folders by typing on the keyboard -- a wonderful feature in OS 9 that had inexplicable disappeared in the switch to X.

Cooked to perfection by Carey.

Sand castle
To be used for a New Year's ritual? So the people several doors down requested.

Permanent accident
A providentially-placed changeable (but very permanent) sign warned of an accident seven miles hence. Within yards, the backup began. It took an hour to make it the seven miles to the accident.

Carey & Lisa and Jer had a dinner ready when we arrived.

Dinner in Bexley
John's spaghetti sauce & excellent cooking.

Shopping
John & Dad and I went to Circuit City, Best Buy, & Lowe's. Dad got a new TV for the basement, which Amy fixed so that it could receive all the necessary cable channels.

Amy, Stephanie, Liz and Mom went thrifting (twice) with considerable success.
