Shopping
Kaufmann's -- I understand why department stores are struggling -- they do not even attempt to hide that their pricing is intended to confuse you. One sign read "Clearance 50% Off -- $29.99 -- originally 62.99 - 80.00." But 29.99 is not 50% of anything in that possible price range. There are also coupons to be clipped from their ads in the paper; coupons which have exclusionary notes twice the length of some doctoral theses. There is no practical way to tell whether the coupon will work on a particular item other than to take it to a cash register.

And some sale prices don't ring up on the cash register, even though they are clearly marked in the store. (Or as clearly as one could hope to find in a department store).

Then to Bachrach, which really doesn't carry jackets in size 39. Men's Wearhouse, which does, but had an unhelpful salesman. (I could use some help on whether or not something fits correctly, hangs right, what about this cut -- just pulling jackets off the rack one after the other and holding them out while I put them on is nice but not useful).

And Kohl's -- good shirts on clearance.

I Want Jesus to Walk with Me

Pastor Wolfe preaching -- on John 3:16, the passage he was never able to get past.
