Mozart Requiem
With orchestra -- and a good orchestra it was, too.

NOVEMBER 6, 2005

ABOVE St Anthony. Statue at Capital University, originally created for St. Anthony Hospital in the Near East. The hospital, now two name changes hence, is no longer the namesake of the saint and has relinquished the statue to the institution where the good artist is employed.

About town
I drove around to see what autumn colors remained.

Outlets
Julie & Amy went.

Housecleaning
Charlie turned up with another flea, so vacuuming and washing everything was the order of the day.

Guiseppe's Ritrovo
For dinner.

Reports on last evening's Best Places to Work event
Nicole: best event ever
Janet: worst event ever
Martha: really, it was rather mediocre

I skipped it on account of choir rehearsal, so I can't add any personal insights.

Choir rehearsal
Came home afterwards to comfort Amy after a long long long day at school, including parent conferences for hours at the end.

ABOVE Monkshood. In bloom, with more buds still to open. A wonderful flower at this time of year.

Running Amy's errands
Library, Target

BELOW St. Mark's Lutheran. Fifth Avenue in Victorian Village -- on the way back from Target.
